Tang Seng Fatt holds the position of Head of Trade Services at EON Bank Berhad. His responsibilities include trade finance business development, advisor on trade finance matters and overseeing the Bank’s trade finance operations.

All in all, Mr. Tang has more than 28 years of banking experience, ranging from branch operations to trade finance and treasury operations at Head Office.

Mr. Tang is a member of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Malaysia Banking Committee. He attends ICC Banking Commission meetings to keep abreast of developments in trade finance and international trade rules.

He holds a Masters degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Heriot Watt University, United Kingdom and a Diploma in Management with merit from the Malaysian Institute of Management. He also obtained a distinction in U.S. Commercial Banking while he was at the Bank of New York, New York in 1996.

Markus has been working in the Trade Finance sector for more than 23 years and was previously in charge of HypoVereinsbank’s Trade & Payment Products as well as the Trade Finance activities,commercial and mid-long-term Trade Finance products in Japan and Italy.
